'PepperOnionJam started as a dream to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to London. The Bianchi family opened our doors in 1985, operating as a quaint, family-owned shop rooted in age-old recipes passed down through generations.
Marco Bianchi, our pioneering founder, mastered pizza-making by studying with seasoned pizzaiolos in Naples, the home of pizza. After her time in Italy, she returned to the UK, intent on capturing the essence of classic Italian pizza using age-old practices and the best ingredients available.
Our initial 12-seat eatery has expanded to become a cherished establishment, yet we've stayed true to our origins, continuing to employ traditional wood stove methods, preparing our dough fresh each morning, and selecting only the premium ingredients.
Now, 'PepperOnionJam' is still in the hands of our family, guided by the Bianchi's second generation, managing a team that shares their enthusiasm. While modern touches have been adopted, we preserve the soul of our enterprise: to make delicious, true-to-roots pizzas that gather people around.
